In Kochi, the artist invited local residents to share a secret about their lives. In response, she made small intuitive drawings and wrote a text, which she recorded in her own voice. Played during the performance, this audio score became a prompt for movement, carrying their stories into the body. The drawings and photographs were displayed alongside.

Created as the culmination of a residency at Apre Art House, this performance moved the artist’s in-studio flamenco rehearsal into a public space. Entering the “red nose” state, a clowning practice of openness and vulnerability, she danced to a farruca, a flamenco palo she had never learnt. She listened on earphones, so the audience saw her responding to music they could not hear.
